There is normally a small charge, to cover the costs of the hall hire.

Wildlife/Nature Group

This group aims to provide help and instruction with most areas relating to digital photography and the presentation of images for display in competitions and exhibitions. including some practical evenings where you can use your camera.

This group meets to give members the opportunity to develop their portraiture skills guided by the help and instruction available from more experienced members.

This, as the name implies, is a group for those members who wish to produce AV presentations and would like some help and advice or perhaps just to discuss ideas.
Historic Photo Group
Arising from the Club members’ digitising of several thousand glass plates held by Maidstone Museum (and subsequently various other museums and private collections) this group requires volunteers willing to take photographs from the locations used to take the original glass plate images. This involves, in most cases, some research finding these locations. Once taken, the new image can then be placed alongside the original, together with any interesting information that is gathered, on the Kent Photo Archive web-site. For more detail contact the club
